ABOUT US

Zeta Psi at Clemson University was founded in Spring 2025 and officially chartered on August 23, 2025, beginning with 25 founding members. By Spring 2026, the chapter had grown to 34 brothers and was featured as the main story in Zeta Psi’s national magazine for its dedication to philanthropy and its work with the ClemsonLIFE program. Though newly established, Zeta Psi has quickly built a strong presence on campus through leadership, service, and brotherhood. We warmly invite you to join us in continuing to build something special at Clemson and to help shape the future of our chapter.

Philanthropy

Zeta Psi is proud to support the One Love Foundation, an organization dedicated to ending relationship violence through education and awareness. Our brothers actively participate in philanthropic efforts across Clemson’s campus, supporting other Greek and student organizations in their charitable events and initiatives. Giving back is a core pillar of our chapter, and we are committed to making a lasting impact both locally and beyond. Additionally, each semester, we host our signature Donuts for Dogs philanthropy event, which benefits the Oconee Humane Society. This event brings together students and the community to support a meaningful local cause while creating a fun and engaging environment on campus.

Founded in 1847, Zeta Psi is a historic, elite, and close-knit brotherhood built on excellence, leadership, and lifelong connection. With over 60 active chapters and expansion groups, Zeta Psi is represented at top institutions across the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, France, Greece, Morocco, Spain, and Switzerland. Zeta Psi takes pride in the caliber of men it invites to join—leaders, scholars, athletes, and philanthropists—while maintaining an connecting chapter experience. Unlike organizations with hundreds of members, our size fosters genuine brotherhood, accountability, and meaningful relationships that extend well beyond college. This strong sense of community contributes to a deeply engaged, lifelong alumni network. Our mission and global values align seamlessly with what we bring to Clemson’s campus— an environment focused on personal development, leadership, and meaningful impact.

DUES & NEW MEMBER PERIOD

The one-time, lifetime initiation fee paid to the International Fraternity is $430. In addition, members pay semester chapter dues that support operations, events, and programming.

For the upcoming term, chapter dues are structured as follows:

• $1,000 for freshmen

• $950 for sophomores

• $900 for juniors

• $800 for seniors

As founding members, we are fully committed to providing a practical, transparent, and supportive new member experience that is strictly free from hazing or abuse. Our process is designed to promote personal growth, accountability, and brotherhood while upholding the highest standards of safety, respect, and integrity.

Housing

Zeta Psi offers members a strong sense of community both on and off campus. We are excited to have housing at The Pier, one of Clemson’s premier living communities. This provides brothers with a centralized place to live, connect, and strengthen the bonds of our brotherhood beyond day-to-day campus life.

BROTHERHOOD

Zeta Psi is built on the foundation of genuine brotherhood and meaningful relationships. As a smaller and more intentional chapter, every member plays an important role in shaping the culture and direction of the organization. Our new member process is focused on development, connection, and accountability—ensuring that each brother is supported both academically and personally while building relationships that last far beyond Clemson. From campus involvement to shared experiences and events, Zeta Psi offers a close-knit environment where members can grow into leaders and form lifelong connections.

AWARDS

In our first year as a chapter, Zeta Psi has already achieved recognition at both the international and university levels. At the 178th Annual International Zeta Psi Convention, the chapter received the John Birchfield Communication Award, becoming the first provisional chapter in the history of Zeta Psi to earn an international award. This distinction represents an extraordinary level of excellence in communication, branding, and engagement with both headquarters and the broader fraternity. Additionally, the chapter was recognized with the Clemson University Chapter Excellence Award for Philanthropic Service, highlighting exceptional dedication to community service, philanthropy, and charitable impact. Our chapter was recognized during its first year for leading impactful philanthropic efforts, organizing multiple successful events and establishing a strong culture of service from the very beginning.
