ABOUT US

The Tau Epsilon chapter of Psi Upsilon was officially founded in 2018. Our chapter values consist of friendship, respect, integrity, passion, and sincerity; each and every brother in the fraternity strives to maintain these values. Our chapter consists of a diverse group of 92 men from all over the United States, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, California, and Texas, as well as a brother from Germany. The chapter house, nicknamed “The Cabin”, is located approximately a 10-minute drive from campus, across Lake Hartwell.

Psi Upsilon was founded on November 24, 1833 at Union College. It has grown to over 50 chapters nationally.

Psi Upsilon’s mission statement is as follows:

“United in friendship, Psi Upsilon members aspire to moral, intellectual and social excellence in themselves as they seek to inspire these values in society.”

PSI UPSILON'S VALUES

DUES & NEW MEMBER PERIOD

Dues during the new member semester are approximately $850, and around $700 for following semesters. The new member period lasts for 8 weeks after accepting a bid. Members who receive a bid will be initiated 8 weeks after receiving and accepting a bid.
