Founded April 5th, 2008, the Epsilon Upsilon chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi takes pride in our mission to better the man through the creation and perpetuation of brotherhood, founded upon the values of character: silence, charity, purity, honor, and patriotism.

 

Consisting of approximately 110 members, we have men coming from all over the United States; South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Wyoming, New York, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, Delaware, and Illinois.

 

Alpha Sigs are involved in the Clemson community, and our chapter boasts multiple former student body presidents, student government members, as well as board members across many other student organizations. Our brothers strive achieve success in the classroom, positively influence the community through philanthropy opportunities, and create an interconnected network through our brotherhood that will last far longer than just 4 years at Clemson. 

Alpha Sigma Phi nationally was founded at Yale on December 6, 1845 and the chapter was founded at Clemson University on April 5, 2008.

PHILANTHROPY & VALUES

Alpha Sigma Phi raised money for the Heart to Heart for COVID-19 Relief, and actively raises money for foundations that correspond with our values:

Charity - Shatterproof

Purity - Aware Awake Alive

Honor - Active Minds

Patriotism - Homes For Our Troops

DUES & NEW MEMBER PERIOD

The cost to join Alpha Sigma Phi is roughly $900 in the new member semester. Every semester, after the new member semester, is roughly $600.

The new member period length is 8 weeks. This means that members who receive a bid will be initiated 8 weeks after they receive and accept their bid.

AWARDS

Alpha Sigma Phi won the Clemson FSL Alumni Development Award in Spring 2020, the FSL Involvement Award, and are the 2020 President's Cup Champions.
